Thank you so much for joining us at our Fundraising Quiz on Wednesday! We had a fantastic night testing our knowledge for a couple of great causes. After hitting our humble target, we have left donations open for supporters to continue adding to the pot. 

About our club

Leeds Hyde Park FC's Women+ team was founded in June 2020 and has gone from strength to strength ever since. We now have four teams competing in the West Riding FA league.

We pride ourselves on being open and friendly club, helping anyone who wants to to play football. Our competitive teams take matchdays seriously and are always looking to do their best, but first and foremost, we make sure that players enjoy coming to training and playing in matches - it’s not all about winning! 

Your donation will go toward

- Covering the cost of facilities to make football more accessible for women+.

- Ongoing improvements to our home ground Elida Gibbs.

- Buying equipment for the club.

SOLACE (https://www.solace-uk.org.uk/), a Leeds-based charity which provides psychotherapy and support to the survivors of persecution and exile living in the Yorkshire and Humber region, many of whom have been traumatised by torture, rape, the death or disappearance of loved ones. They are experts in improving the wellbeing of asylum-seekers and refugees who aim to alleviate sickness, distress and suffering, with a particular focus on emotional and mental health.
