Who are we?
Our history stretches back into the 1700s here at Leeds & Broomfield. Fast forward to 2025 and you will see a club that embraces both the recent and distant past but with a sharp eye on the future. This was epitomised by the club’s recent achievement of reaching the National Village Cup Final, held at Lord’s. Don’t be fooled by the ‘village’ tag, there were teams from large towns and cities across the nation. The massive support we enjoyed on the day reflected past and current playing members as well as cricket fans from the wider Kent and South-East London area.
It was no surprise that national TV and press covered our progress, with their regional counterparts giving significant airtime. Online coverage greatly increased our profile far and wide.
However, with success comes added challenges. Whilst our progress on- the- field is exceptionally healthy in all sectors and a g e groups, we need to match their need for appropriate facilities with an improved performance o ff-t h e - field.
Why are we crowdfunding?
Our key objectives are:
Modernise our facilities starting with a new pavilion
Cover the surveys and reports needed to progress to the tender stage.
Solidify our Senior side as a top 20 club in the County
Develop our junior teams to future proof the club, including investment in girls’ cricket
Embrace our history, to proactively involve members and players from years gone by to help shape our future
How we’ll spend the money raised
Our ultimate aim is to fund a new purpose built pavilion on our current ground in the heart of Leeds & Broomfield. Our new pavilion will offer suitable changing rooms to include rooms for youth/girls. It will also include a bar area that will be able to support community events and allow further income to the club.
Community impact
With a new pavilion, we will be able to offer out our facilities to local schools/clubs as well as hosting local events that will continue to bring in revenue to the club.
How you can play your part
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
