Lee has been in boxing since childhood and has had over 100+ bouts as an amateur and professional boxer.
He now dedicates his time to coaching the next generation through our outreach school programmes, working with young people to build their confidence and to learn the technical elements of boxing in fun and supportive sessions.
Lee has always kept fit and active with 4am runs and regular strength and conditioning training. He is taking up this gruelling challenge to run 26 miles across the sussex coast, splitting the funds raised between WBC Cares UK and The Ringside Charitable Trust charity.
WBC Cares UK is the charity arm for the World Boxing Council. We use the sport of boxing to support everyone that needs us in our community! We coach and mentor young people who need support working towards a brighter future as well as more specific 1:1 referrals from child services to reduce crime and antisocial behaviour whilst instilling discipline and self respect in the next generation.
The Ringside Charitable Trust is devoted to the aftercare of retired boxers who have been adversely affected after a career in boxing. They provide medical health, care and support for those dealing with depression, addiction, long term illnesses and injuries. The funds raised will contribute to the purchase of a Ringside Charitable Trust Care Home to provide 'in house' specific cares needs to those who have dedicated their lives to the sport of boxing.
