Learning Resource/Library Appeal
In 2020 I managed to source some learning/educational resources and donated them, 1536 secondary school text books and other learning materials as well as uniforms which were received very well by the school and the community at large.
A room was set up to use as library/learning resource. The school has Computers, Printer, Projector and Wi-Fi but all these electronic equipment are not working due to the unavailability of Electricity. The Transformer at the school was struck by lightning and all efforts to have it repaired or replaced did not yield any positive results since 2018.
On behalf of the school I am kindly appealing for funds so that we can have a (renewable energy) solar system installed to run the library/learning resource centre. The use of renewable energy will allow the school to run a horticulture project which will help with income generation.
We will also need funds to build shelves for the books which are at present on top of tables and floor.
A quotation was completed and a total amount of $5000 US dollars or (£3700 Pounds) is required to supply and install the solar system.
We understand it is to part with your hard earned cash but every little will go a long way to ensure this project is a success as it will fully benefit the school and community at large.
Please help as the School is in desperate need of the learning resource centre to be fully functional.
Thanks you in advance.
