Lauder Community and Leisure Centre aims to promote the health and wellbeing of the residents of Lauderdale, by providing recreational facilities, leisure and community activities to the general public, and to improve the conditions of life of the inhabitants of Lauderdale.

Lauder Community & Leisure Centre SCIO provides a variety of services to the communities of Lauderdale. These include our family friendly café, which acts as a meeting place for various groups within the community, such as the Breastfeeding Group, our soft play area, a gym with exercise equipment and weights, a sports hall and ‘The Smiddy’ space which are used for professional fitness classes, private events and by groups such as Lauderdale Junior Football.
The Centre also hosts the Lauder Larder community foodbank and the Lauderdale Community Shed on-site.
The SCIO is managed by a committee of volunteers who are all members of the local community, and aims to benefit the communities of Lauderdale by providing facilities and activities that enable residents to increase their activity levels, and engage socially with others in the community.
