General Overview & Why?
This September, I’ll be heading back to Australia to take part in the School of Biblical Studies (SBS) with YWAM Sunshine Coast. As many of you know, I recently returned from Australia after completing the Discipleship Training School (DTS), which was such an amazing experience. I built a strong community and truly loved my time there.
While I was doing DTS, another school—the SBS—was running at the same time. I got to know some of the students and became really interested in what they were learning. Towards the end of my DTS, I had the opportunity to stay a bit longer and sit in on a few of their classes. I absolutely loved how the sessions were structured, and it really sparked a deeper curiosity in me to study the Bible more thoroughly.
What is School of Biblical Studies (SBS)?
The SBS is a 9-month intensive course where we’ll dive into the entire Bible multiple times, learning practical tools to read and understand it personally, all while exploring the historical and cultural context of the times it was written.
I am excited about this opportunity as I know it'll be a chance to further my relationship with God and it grow a deeper understanding of the bible.
How much do I need to raise?
The SBS is a 9-month course, and the total cost—including tuition, accommodation, meals, local transport, flights, and visa—comes to around £9,000. I’m aiming to cover half of this amount through my own work, but I’m reaching out for support to help raise the remaining half!
How can you help?
If you feel led or able to support me financially, it would mean the world. Whether it’s a one-time gift or ongoing support, every little bit helps and brings me one step closer to this next chapter. And if giving financially isn’t possible, your prayers, encouragement, and sharing my story with others are just as valuable!
Thank you!
