Langham Arts Trust

RCN 1059611, London

Langham Arts Trust (LAT) points people to Jesus through the power of music. Home to the All Souls Orchestra, LAT runs music evangelism events including Prom Praise and Prom Praise for Schools. It also hosts Christmas Unwrapped and other events, while providing music resources to help Churches and ensembles of all sizes to thrive in worship.

All Souls Music was birthed from All Souls Langham Place. In the early 1970s, Noël Tredinnick - then Director of Music at All Souls - founded the All Souls Orchestra. Within a short span of time, the Orchestra grew in demand and renown and over the past 50+ years has performed internationally, recorded multiple albums and been instrumental in bringing the vision for Prom Praise and the wider music ministry to life.

In 1986, the Langham Arts Trust was born. Known fondly as All Souls Music in grateful acknowledgement of its roots and heritage, the Langham Arts Trust was created to support the burgeoning ministry of the All Souls Orchestra, Prom Praise and all of the associated music ministry of the charity.

While the Orchestra no longer comprises solely All Souls members, a portion of the remit of the charity remains to support the music for All Souls Langham Place. The growth that this strong heritage has enabled, carries within it an ever-expanding vision to point all generations to Jesus through the power of music, throughout the earth.

Today under the directorship of Michael Andrews, All Souls Music has three primary areas of focus:

Witness

Proclaiming the saving grace of Christ to all generations, both locally and internationally, through outreach concerts, conferences and projects.

Wider Church

Creating world-class resources for churches to use in their own communities and contexts.

Worship

Leading the church family of All Souls Langham Place in sung worship; gathering, inspiring and developing the gifts of Christians as part of the All Souls Orchestra, Choir and Bands.
