L&K's chosen charity for Explore the World with L&K Travel is The Hugs Foundation💚

The Hugs Foundation rescues and rehabilitates mistreated, abandoned, and unwanted horses, ponies, and donkeys. We're proud members of the National Equine Welfare Council and the Equine Assisted Services Partnership.

But our work goes far beyond rescue. We provide life-changing wellbeing support for children, young people, the elderly, veterans, and those facing challenges like trauma, PTSD, mental ill-health, SEND and isolation. Through therapeutic learning and animal-assisted services, we help people build resilience, develop coping strategies, and rediscover confidence.

Our experienced team also takes this support into the community—visiting care homes, schools, and events to promote animal welfare and mental wellbeing.
