Kulsuma Akter Memorial Fund

Aim: We are launching a fundraising campaign for a permanent memorial to Kulsuma Akter who was murdered in Bradford exactly one year ago today.
Kulsuma Akter was stabbed to death aged 27 on the afternoon of Saturday 6th April 2024 on Westgate in central Bradford as she pushed her baby son in his pram. Her husband has been charged with her murder. We want to create a permanent memorial, close to the site where she was killed, to remember her and to remember all the women whose lives have been taken by male violence.
