Koala North West offers emotional and practical support to families. We aim to strengthen and widen the social support network of families. Volunteers, who are parents themselves are carefully matched to the needs of the family; they then visit the family at home, building a strong supportive relationship offering friendship, reassurance and practical help.

Koala North West offers emotional and practical support to all families; parents and children up to 11years. They can help mums and dads with everyday issues such a sleep deprivation, breast feeding, teething, isolation and so much more to ensure families can thrive. The charity is supported by volunteers who offer a free confidential service, a listening ear for problems and practical support to build essential life skills for the whole family.
We rely on fundraising and donations to allow us to carry out or work in the commnity, from offering support to mums and dads with disabled childrenin the SEND team, to advising parents of children with respiratory problems with the Little Lungs team. They offer a listening ear and practical help to those struggling putting their children to bed, and for parents who may feel anxious or isolated, or Family Support will help them.
