Aim: Help us fund a community roller disco! A fun, inclusive event for all ages to enjoy, connect, and keep rolling together.
Knaresborough Revolution is excited to launch a new project that brings fun, movement, and connection to our town — a fully-equipped community roller disco! We’ve acquired everything needed to run exciting events, including a wide range of roller skates and blades, full safety gear, and secure, portable storage.
Our ambition is to make this a shared community asset, available to local groups, schools, charities, and organisations. Groups can hire the roller disco for a donation or use it for free, depending on their needs. It’s all about enabling inclusive, healthy, and safe activities for young people, families, and residents across Knaresborough.
Our Goal:
To make this project sustainable, we are raising £5,000 to cover essential costs like the purchase costs of the equipment, storage, maintenance, and fees. Reaching this goal means we can keep offering the roller disco as a low-cost or free resource for community events, and host “pay what you can” sessions so everyone has access, no matter their circumstances.
