New stretch target
Any additonal money raised will be used to purchase additional lights for Christmas 2017. Our community can work together to discuss and decide how and where we want to light up our village streets for Christmas.

We did it
On 17th December 2016 we successfully raised £2,606 with 236 supporters in 14 days
To take ownership of Kirkliston's Christmas lights, ensuring our village shines bright every Christmas!

Kirkliston Gala Day committee have an opportunity to ensure our village have some Christmas lights this year - while we can't decorate the whole village (this year) we can hopefully ensure our village centre shines bright at the crossroads with lights on the trees surrounding the monument. To do this we need the help of our community, if 400 people donated just £1 we could reach our target for this year and start our fundraising to expand this for future years. It's ambitious, but we hope to raise this in the next few days to allow time to purchase lights ready to be erected next weekend (10th Dec).
Christmas lights help make it a more magical time of year, especially for children, so lets make sure we have a little magic this year for all our community.
