Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Children and young people who Kinetic Youth support and offer a valuable youth work service to them at a very difficult time in their lives. We have many projects across the country and every donation will help.

Kinetic Youth work with most vulnerable disadvantaged children and young people across the country

These children and young people have:

* suffered major disadvantage

* (mainly undiagnosed) learning and neurodiversity challenges

* suffered at least one significant traumatic incident and multiple others (especially if you consider being incarcerated traumatic)

* lived with and/or witnessed/been a victim of violence and domestic abuse

* engaged with gangs/engaged in gang-related behaviours

* lived with and/or witnessed and/or engaged with substance misuse

* been excluded from formal education

* had limited support to engage with the adolescent developmental process appropriately

* been a victim of bullying or self-harm

* limited social and personal development life skills.

Most of the individuals we work with have several of the above going on for them.

These children and young people find themselves incarcerated based on a lack of opportunity, a lack of choices, a lack of support and guidance, a lack of an appropriate education system that works for them and as victims of the impact of negative society. They have limited understanding of others, equity, and very limited emotional capacity. They have limited skills related to their counterparts.

Despite the best efforts, there is little support for them to have a say, engage with adults meaningfully and progress to positive resettlement and adulthood. As a Charity Kinetic Youth are supporting these young people with limited resources but with a team of amazing youth workers who are dedicated to make a difference to the lives of the young people we work with.
