KINERGY

Kinergy is a Bristol based charity that has been providing essential, specialist, trauma-informed counselling, and group therapy to support survivors of sexual abuse and sexual violence since 1996. We support survivors age 18+ of all genders and demographics living in Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, and Bath and North East Somerset. We provide a high quality holistic, inclusive, and accessible service in a welcoming and secure environment. This service fills a vital gap in the care of our community and an essential role in the availability of local specialist mental health services. Our primary aim is to lessen the trauma and long-term experience of sexual abuse or violence, helping survivors to recover safely, understand their experience and improve their mental health and general wellbeing.

By supporting Kinergy you will be contributing to:

• Providing Accessible and Free Counselling: Providing survivors with access to specialist professional counselling services at no cost, in a safe, welcoming, and accessible environment that promotes the overall wellbeing of survivors.
• Promoting Healing and Resilience: Through evidence-based counselling techniques, we seek to empower survivors to heal from trauma, manage their emotions, and develop coping strategies that promote long-term wellbeing and resilience.
• Reduce Stigma and Isolation: By creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment, we aim to reduce the stigma associated with seeking help for mental health issues. 
• Empower Survivors: Our counselling services focus on empowering survivors to rebuild their lives, make informed decisions, and reclaim a sense of agency over their bodies and minds.
