Kilpeck Village Hall

Kilpeck is a small village in the Golden Valley area of Hereford, just 9 miles from the city, 5 miles from the Welsh border and just 1 mile off the main A465 Hereford to Abergavenny road. Though small, Kilpeck is home to an historic Motte-and-Bailey castle ruin dating from the 12th century. Next door to the castle is the delightful St Mary & St David’s church dating from around 1140. Open every day, it is still in use and a regular tourist destination. Kilpeck Village Hall is a registered charity run by a small committee of volunteers. It is run by and for the benefit of the local community and is available to hire for a wide variety of functions to the wider community. We have regular yoga and fitness classes, art club, and pantomime and youth theatre groups. We regularly also have weddings, christenings, funeral wakes, children’s parties, craft and food fairs and very popular quiz and curry evenings. We can seat up to 120 people depending on the arrangements of seats and tables as required. We have 12 large rectangular tables 10 large round tables and a few smaller round tables which we like to use for musical evenings. The recently refurbished kitchen is well stocked with cutlery and crockery.
