Kiddleydivey has been providing music, singing and movement sessions to vulnerable groups, those with dementia and the elderly for over 18 years.
My name is Alyson Jabelman, and I own the Kiddleydivey Bath, Chippenham, Swindon and Surrounds franchise bringing musical activities to almost 100 care homes and settings.
I have witnessed some amazing results, achieved when music and songs, specially chosen for their inherent therapeutic qualities, are combined with props to facilitate and encourage movement, social interaction and memory function.
What happens in a session?

What benefits do the sessions bring?

Having seen such reactions, it was obvious that I needed to get Kiddleydivey out into my local community to improve older people’s mental, physical and emotional wellbeing so that even more people could benefit.
This however, is not as easy as it would seem!
I need your help
We all know Councils are strapped for cash. Funding of community groups has been slashed or taken away altogether. This means that it is incredibly hard for these groups to provide quality activities for members. Even after reducing my costs to a minimum, most community groups aren’t able to afford regular sessions.
So…… I am asking for some help from you so that I can bring these brilliant sessions to people in the community around Bath, Chippenham, Swindon and the Surrounding area.
My aim is to raise money to part or fully fund these sessions for community groups in the area.
If a group can provide half of the usual cost, then I will be able to fund the rest through this project.
If I raised £1000, this would fully fund 20 sessions in the community.
If group’s part fund the session, I can provide 40 sessions in the community! The money you provide will ensure that the older generation in your community will benefit. Please do what you can.
