Aim: I’m cycling 330km from coast to coast, 330km in one day to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society, an incredibly worth cause.

I’m taking on a huge challenge: cycling 330km coast to coast in a single day, starting at 4am from Rochester to Weston-super-Mare. This is long.......really long - hence 'The Longest Day', and I’m doing it in support of the Alzheimer’s Society.

Having seen the effects of dementia, I know how cruel an it can be. The Alzheimer’s Society does vital work, supporting families, funding research, and pushing for progress. Riding for them feels like a meaningful way to channel that experience into something positive.

Some facts from the Alzheimer’s Society:

  • 1 in 3 people born in the UK today will be diagnosed with dementia in their lifetime.
  • 1.4 million people are expected to be living with dementia by 2040.
  • Dementia is the UK's biggest health and social care crisis.

We have successfully raised around £40k per ride over our previous 2 charity rides and hope that with your support we will be able to do so again for a bigger challenge and worthy cause.

The day itself is going to be long, hilly, and very tough, but nothing compared to what people living with dementia go through every day. Any support you can give, will really make a difference.

This is our 3rd ride in the last 3 years and this is the hardest challenge yet, if you would be kind enough to donate for this challenge and great cause I would be most grateful.
