🌟 Welcome to our Kempsey Primary School Sensory Room Project! 🌟

At Kempsey Primary School, we believe every child deserves an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. That's why we're reaching out to you, our wonderful community, to be a part of something truly special - the creation of a dedicated Sensory Den within our school.

What's the Sensory Room Project about?

Our Sensory Den is more than just a room; it's a transformative space designed to support the unique needs of our students. A haven of calm, colour, and comfort, the Sensory Den will provide a space where children can explore their senses, engage with therapeutic activities, and find a quiet retreat when needed.

Why is it important?

For some of our students, the traditional classroom setting can be overwhelming. The Sensory Den will be a safe space where children with diverse learning needs can thrive, fostering emotional well-being and promoting positive learning experiences. Importantly, the benefits of the Sensory Den extend to all our students.

How does it benefit all students?

By providing a dedicated space for children who may struggle in a traditional classroom environment, the Sensory Den aims to create a more harmonious and focused learning atmosphere for all students. Removing potential disruptions allows every child to engage more fully in their lessons, contributing to a positive and effective educational experience.
