Good luck with the fundraising!
2500 years ago, a remarkable collection of Bronze Age objects was hidden in a Shropshire wetland. We hope to purchase them to find out why.

Good luck with the fundraising!
I am very disappointed that such a beautiful piece should have to leave the county where it was found. Surely it is ours, they could put a copy in the British Museum!!!!
This is such an important issue! Local areas should keep the rare gems of their history - whether that's the Greek Marbles, Tribal Masks, or the North Shropshire Hoard. People should have access to learn about their local culture and to be inspired by it!
Good luck!
We must keep this wonderful hoard in Shropshire. It opens a window on an ancient and mysterious time in our county.
It will be amazing to have these on display at the Shrewsbury Museum.
These finds deserve to stay in North Shropshire
An important find to be kept in Shropshire
Looking forward to seeing the objects in due course.
Very happy to support Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery in these trying times - keep up the good work!
Important to support our heritage.
Great discovery for Shropshire!
Very glad to contribute to this exciting and worthwhile project
Hoping artifacts can be retained in Shropshire.
I want no gift. Seeing the Hoard staying where it belongs, is enough.
Excellent idea to get supporters to contribute to keeping the items in Shropshire
We’re donating from Australia. We think that securing the hoard is incredibly important.
These are such important finds, they belong to the people of Staffordshire and Britain, and should be in the public eye. What a shame to have to do this to protect one's own heritage. Good luck from Ireland
As a Member of Shropshire Council I have long felt that the Museum was one of the Council's greatest assets.
Fascinating history - great to keep it here!
Good luck with this - great news that SM&AG is forming a partnership with the British Museum!
Good luck with teaching your target! With best wishes from all of us at stop.
Glad to be able to support keeping the Bronze Age Hoard in Shropshire
