Aim: It's hard enough needing help to feed the family without having to worry about the cold - we want our support hubs to be warm and welcoming

The Hope Centre - St Helens has been supporting the local community for almost 19 years with our two main projects supporting the vulnerable people of the borough. Hope House, our homeless prevention project and St Helens Foodbank both open their doors Monday to Friday to offer a warm welcome to those needing our support.

The rising cost of living is impacting more and more people and we are seeing a change in the need of those coming through our doors - the basic need is the same, someone needs help to put food on the table, but the person coming in is often working and never thought they would need this support

As a charity we are also being impacted on the rising cost of gas and electric but we know how crucial it is to keep our doors open to make sure people can get their carrier bags filled with good wholesome food to get them through a tough time.

We would so love your support to help us not only keep the lights on but the heating on too... we always give a warm welcome to anyone needing our help but in today's climate we also want it to be a truly warm space with a cup of tea and something to eat.

Your support will help a stranger feel that little less alone and a little bit warmer
