Keep Broken Spoke Pedalling

As we all ease into 2025, we would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year - and also thank everyone for all the support over the festive break. We raised a fantastic amount over this period and our One Donation - Twice the Difference means that an amazing £1863 raised will be matched by a very generous donor - what a great start to the year!

We would also like to take this opportunity to invite you all to a special event we are hosting on Friday 17th January (6-8pm).

It’s called Newbie Night and is open to all, free to attend and a chance for us to welcome people into Broken Spokes workshop, particularly if you are new!

There will be no strict schedule but we can guarantee friendly faces, warm drinks and nibbles, and a chance to learn more about cycling and bike maintenance in a relaxed, welcoming space. We want everyone to feel empowered to ask questions, share knowledge and have the chance to get to know the Spoke, the people behind it and how we can help you.

Members of the team will be on hand to give advice on bike related queries including some helpful bike maintenance demonstrations. We are also delighted to announce that one of the founding members of Broken Spoke, Ellie Smith will be joining us and co-leading the event with our fantastic mechanic Kat Young, sharing their expert knowledge.
