On the 6th June 2020 we'd raised £2,893 with 43 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Dear Friends, Clients, Supporters,
Whilst the country remains on lockdown due to Covid-19, Sprint Physio are in immediate danger of closing our doors once and for all.
We are calling out to the good people of our community for your help in our hour of need! With all visits to the clinics stopped we simply cannot afford to cover our overheads for the coming months and are asking if you can help us in any way. Whether that is purchasing packages or vouchers for future use now or simply donating a small amount. Every little will go towards saving this essential community resource.
Since 2002 we have supported over 10,000 people of all ages in the West London local community; from those suffering from long term conditions to those recovering from major orthopaedic, cancer, abdominal or cardiac surgeries to women in need of pre or post pregnancy support.
During the UK lockdown, we have adapted our remote services as best we can, to keep serving those most in need:
However, the cost of having to close our doors and stop in-person support is difficult to bear. Health clinics are not included within the business rates relief scheme and so we are struggling.
We are doing everything we can to stay afloat, to ensure we can do what we can for those in most need, but we fear we might have to close; leaving our patients without a lifeline.
Many of our staff members have joined colleagues on the frontline and have returned to the NHS to provide much needed support, but we need a place to come back to when society starts moving again to continue to support the community, including our most vulnerable.
We are asking anyone who can, to donate to our cause and help pay our essential overheads – to help us survive as a clinic, keep those in our community healthy and our amazing team in work.
Please also support us by signing our petition to push the government to include health clinics within the business rates relief scheme.
