Giving Tuesday #KeepCyclingCampaign for Cycles4all
The festive season is just around the corner, and we invite you to kick it off with us on Giving Tuesday!
Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving back. On the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and Black Friday, you’ll have the chance to join people around the world and support a cause close to your heart.
This Giving Tuesday, help us give the gift of inclusive cycling to children, young people, and adults with disabilities. By joining the #KeepCyclingCampaign, you’re giving someone an experience that we often take for granted – to feel the momentum of a bike, to feel the wind in your face, and the bumps in the ground.
About Cycles4all
Cycles4all offers disabled people and their families' access to a variety of inclusive bikes and the appropriate support to use the bikes safely and with confidence. We have a range of cycles which are easy to ride and accessible for all abilities.
The project was set-up in January 2011 and is accessed by more than 500 disabled users every year. Our aim is for everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of cycling.
The difference Cycles4all makes: building confidence and well-being
Cycles4all has a huge impact on the lives of the people who participate in the project - both participants and volunteers increase their self-confidence, overcome barriers faced by disability and prejudice, have the opportunity to access recreational sport in their own community, and benefit from improved health through exercise. The benefits of exercise through cycling have a positive impact on fitness, mobility, and overall feeling of wellbeing. At Cycles4all, we have a goal to raise £500 to fund inclusive cycle sessions for children, young people and adults with disabilities. With your help, we can make this a reality.
Will you help us #KeepCycling at Cycles4all?
