We're still collecting donations

On the 15th February 2022 we'd raised £2,000 with 55 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

 New stretch target

If by chance we raise more money, then this will contribute to the club getting wall mats to further ensure the safety of all involved especially those with special needs.

This crowdfunder is seeking donations for our new Blackpool Fylde Coast Judo venue start-up, as our deepest wish is to continue to be able to provide unmatched opportunities for the local community of all ages!

We cannot thank you enough for your time and efforts to support us, as I, (Ross Goodwin) will be running a marathon to help raise the funds required. And for a little added extra fun, for each £1 raised, the kids who are members of the club will get to Judo throw me once - something I'm sure they're all very much looking forward to.

The donations received will make a huge difference to us, and enable us to start up with the best equipment possible for all users and also assist with the initial running costs, as we aim to move into a new venue that is safe and meets the needs of its users, which will include everyone: children, adults, and people with additional needs.

A new building will provide us with the ability to run a full-time schedule, which will include adaptive/additional needs, Judo tots for ages three and four, and our popular sports camp - which provided the local community with opportunities in a variety of sports and disciplines such as Judo, boxing, pro-wrestling, and acrobatics.

Our team objectives are good morale, happiness, achieving goals, and fulfilment, whilst extending our reach as far into the community as we can.

Kaidokan Judo Academy - Creating friendships, memories, and champions.

The club has earned multiple regional and national championships as well as creating international and paralympic pathways for our players, including Neil Bennett - 4X British special needs champion who claimed his first title after just eight months of training!

Our club earned the prestigious Community Sports Club of the Year Award in 2018, just three years after opening!

And our club is run by the current Fylde & Lancashire Coach of the Year!

One of our chief aims is that the club be an inclusive, safe, and welcoming space to all - regardless of age, ability, gender, or race. We are also proud to accept any members of the LGBTQIA community.

The marathon will take place on February 10th. Regular updates will be provided as well as the marathon itself being filmed, something my personal training clients will watch with delight I am sure.

Thank you once again for your help, the immediate impact on the local community will be incredible, and we intend to grow and accomplish more every year.
