Aim: Julian & Rachel are fundraising for two fantastic charities Emmaus Suffolk & Ipswich Town Foundation for those less fortunate than ourselves

On Friday 21st March Julian and Rachel ‘Team Portable Space’ are sleeping out at Portman Road in order to fundraise for two very important Suffolk charities.

Although this is just one night, it will make us appreciate everything we have at home especially when sleeping on just cardboard and just having a cup of soup as our evening meal.

We understand everyone is feeling the pinch at the moment with the cost of living rising but please if you can give a little to help others it will make our cold night that little more bearable!!

Emmaus Suffolk is a charity which works with vulnerable, socially isolated people and those at risk of homelessness across the county.

Their ambition is to introduce new ways of tackling entrenched homelessness, loneliness, isolation and unemployment. They do this by enabling and empowering people to help themselves through meaningful activity that will benefit both themselves and others.

They provide front line services to those people facing the prospect of homelessness to try to prevent it happening, while also supported those who are experiencing social exclusion or long-term unemployment.
