JSCN serves a constituency of around 55,000 people living in or proximate to 100+ small Jewish communities, in 72 towns, across the British Isles. That is roughly 20% of the total Jewish population of the UK.
We bring people together, bring communities together, and bring an understanding of the Jewish experience to a wider non-Jewish world.
We bring communities together to share and learn from one another.
We support community leaders, through sharing best practice, opportunities to hone leadership skills, and encouraging the development of succession planning, in order to encourage the functioning and resilience of communities.
We create opportunities for those living remotely or who are isolated to engage in a wider range of Jewish life and culture than would otherwise be possible.
Our website provides both a gateway and signposts to a wide range of information and support. This enables both Jewish and non-Jewish individuals, supporting professionals, and organisations to access communities and support services.
JSCN is often referred to as the 'missing jigsaw piece'.
