In adolescence boys embark on a journey to maturity during which they will encounter changes, challenges and new experiences, many of which will shape them for life.
Although each path will be different and there is no one clear way through, our ancestors knew that with support, guidance and encouragement from the older men of the community - the journey to healthy adulthood was far more likely to be successful.
