We're still collecting donations
On the 26th January 2023 we'd raised £250 with 9 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

Join us, as we take rugby 7s to the next level.
Hello my name is Arun Watkins. I am a 21 year old, final year Business and Marketing student at Brunel University. I am also the founder of my business EggChaser and the rugby 7s elite teams Lion 7s and Lionesses 7s. I have been privileged to play international rugby 7s and qualified for the Commonwealth Games with Zambia.
Following a great finale this year for our teams in the Caribbean returning as the women’s runners up and men’s champions at the British Airways Grenada Rugby World 7s, our next mission is to accelerate our sport not only via the rugby teams, but also via tournaments and creating meaningful competitions in the UK that properly engage the supporters and truly tap into the commercial growth potential the sport can harness.
Our first project on this journey is the inaugural EggChaser 7s, which will take place on Saturday 6th May 2023 at Old Reigatian RFC. The event will play host to 12 men’s and 12 women’s sides with a mix of elite, invitational and national teams attending.
7s and rugby is about community, and I would like to give you the opportunity to join myself and my team on our journey to really take the game of 7s to the next level.
In sport and in life, there is always a place for innovators and risk takers. Personally, it is a culture I thrive on, especially when it is for a cause I am passionate about. Together we can develop and build a model that truly grasps the commercial viability of this great sport, and we can provide a platform to absolutely professionalise the sport globally.
The more support we can harness, the better an event we can put on.
I hope you can join me on this journey, and thank you for your support.
