Protect vulnerable people against unscrupulous cosmetic surgeons and the websites that promote them with the CSA Site & Consultant Directory

Help Us to Make Cosmetic Surgery Safer

Every year, countless people suffer, some even lose their lives, at the hands of unscrupulous cosmetic surgeons or profit-driven companies that put money over patient safety. Imagine if it were your mother, brother, partner, or child.

That’s why I have launched this crowdfunding campaign: to provide the ultimate resource for people who want to connect with qualified, reputable plastic surgeons and expert-led cosmetic surgery information.

All the money raised will go directly toward:

✅ Building an upgraded directory — exclusive to plastic surgeons, making it easier for patients to find qualified professionals.
✅ Advertising the site — to expand awareness and reach those who need it most.
✅ Launching a podcast & YouTube channel — delivering trusted insights, news, and surgeon-led discussions to educate and protect patients.

Transparency is key. I will account for every penny spent and share full details on the campaign page, so you know exactly how your support is making a difference.

Together, we can fight misinformation, expose unethical practices, and ensure people have access to qualified, plastic surgeons, who care about patient safety. Your support, whether through donations or simply sharing this campaign, will help transform the industry for the better. Let’s make cosmetic surgery safer for everyone.

Thank you for being part of this mission!

My Story: I Never Thought This Would Happen to Me…

My name is Annabelle and I created Cosmetic Surgery Advancements (CSA) when I found out that my breast implants had been withdrawn from the worldwide market due to a link with cancer, now known as Breast Implant Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (BIA-ALCL). SUDDENLY, my world turned upside down. That moment changed everything.

What started as a blog about BIA-ALCL quickly became a lifeline. Women began reaching out, desperate for guidance on finding a safe, qualified plastic surgeon for implant removal and replacement. Their stories, filled with fear and uncertainty, drove me to launch a verified plastic surgeon directory in January 2020.

Here’s the harsh reality: The cosmetic surgery industry is flooded with deception.

I knew I had to take action, to warn, educate, and protect others, believing in star ratings, glowing reviews, and perfect before-and-after photos… only to discover the harsh truth too late. Unqualified practitioners are performing high-risk procedures, and lives are being destroyed in the process. Complications. Disfigurement. Even death.

I have personally funded this mission from the beginning, ensuring that every legitimate plastic surgeon could have a free profile, because patient safety should never come at a cost.

To compete with large, profit-driven organizations, I knew I had to revamp my website with a fresh new brand, an upgraded look, and add an advanced directory offering multiple search features. I have invested everything I have into making this vision a reality and now I need your support.

Why Plastic Surgery Associations Fall Short – And What You Can Do About It!

Most surgeon directories miss the mark because they lack:
🚫 Easy-to-use search features to find the right expert
🚫 Before-and-after photos to showcase real results
🚫 Patient reviews to build trust and confidence

This is why platforms like RealSelf have grown and why my site, Cosmetic Surgery Advancements, is so important. We’re creating a verified plastic surgeon directory that will help patients to connect with reputable, plastic surgeons.

I believe that together we can stop the influence of websites that spread misinformation and promote cosmetic surgeons of dubious integrity.

Let’s change the face of plastic surgery and make it patient focused not profit focused.

CSA Eligibility Criteria: Profiles are available for plastic surgeons registered for a minimum of 2 years, with one of the below organisations*

  • GMC Specialist Register in the UK
  • Irish Medical Council Specialist Register
  • European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery
  • American Board of Plastic Surgery
  • American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada

*Good medical standing – not restricted or suspended.

Together, we can make CSA the most trusted and widely used platform for those seeking cosmetic surgery. By doing so, we can protect vulnerable people and enhance the reputation of the cosmetic surgery industry.
