WITH FULL FAMILY APPROVAL

John Hemingway DFC is the last known living fighter pilot to serve in the momentous Battle of Britain during the summer of 1940.

To  mark the anniversary of the Battle of Britain and John’s 105th birthday in July this year, our intention is to purchase a special mobility chair and home care equipment organised by “Last of the Few” painter – Dan Llywelyn Hall and Brian  Hemingway (John's son). in United Kingdom.

Every year September 15th marks the commemoration of the Battle of Britain and to celebrate this and John’s grand birthday, we would like to offer a donation to John’s care home in Foxrock, Dublin.

John is presently cared for in a retirement care home and we are hoping to raise funds to help John with a special chair to make him more comfortable by helping support his body.

You can opt for rewards such as meeting John or exclusive prints by artist Dan Llywelyn Hall, that mark John’s portrait unveiling as special keepsakes and collectors’ items.  Any sums raised above £7,000 will contribute to further equipment for the nursing home FOXROCK, DUBLIN.

Breakdown:

£1-£3000 raised: ALL funds to specialist chair for John’s use in Foxrock, Dublin.

£3000 -£10,000:Any sum over £3000 will then go go to the family to support John's ongoing care fees and family support for John at Foxrock, Dublin and be left as a legacy from the family and John for all their help and care.

You can claim these rewards for various stages of the pledges.
