We need to raise £2700 to get Jo and Sam onto the general election ballot and into every home in Henley and Thame, and Didcot and Wantage.

by South and Vale Greens in Faringdon, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom

The 4th July General Election takes place against a backdrop of Tory incompetence and cynicism, Labour appeasement and Lib Dem invisibility. Voters want to hear Green voices more than ever, and for the first time we are standing in every constituency throughout England and Wales.

We have two wonderful Green MP candidates: Sam Casey-Rerhaye for Didcot and Wantage, and Jo Robb for Henley and Thame. Will you help chip in to cover the costs of our deposits and get a leaflet with their message to every household in the two constituencies?

Having Green candidates on a general election ballot shifts the focus of the debate. Jo and Sam are highly-respected councillors and proven campaigners. In hustings and through our literature they will be a strong voice to show voters that Greens offer a real alternative to the status quo. In this election Greens are offering real hope and real change.

A Triple Impact for your Donation

Nationally, Greens are working flat out to ensure that we send 4 MPs to Westminster from our four national targets. But every constituency and every vote for a Green matters. However much you can spare, your donation could have a triple impact:

  • We stand brilliant Green candidates for Parliament who will challenge the old parties and shift the terms of the debate.
  • All the votes Greens receive translate directly into government-funded ”short money” for the Green MPs elected to parliament.
  • If we retain our deposits, those funds come back and can be spent by the Green Party again, so we can keep building strength both locally and nationally.

Help us Send a Green Message to Westminster

Across Oxfordshire, residents have shown they want to vote Green - our South Oxfordshire councillors are in the District administration; in Vale the Green group is the lead opposition. Residents know that Greens are hard-working, honest and stand up for the issues that really matter.

Every Green vote we earn sends the other parties the message that voters want real hope, real change, and a government that will make that happen.

Are you with us? Please help us by chipping in £5, £10 or £20, or whatever you can afford, to get Jo Robb and Sam Casey-Rerhaye on to the general election ballot and their message through the post into every home in the Henley and Thame, and Didcot and Wantage constituencies.

P.S. Because we're a political party.

We're required to run electoral register checks from people making donations above £500, and if you donate over £1,500 during a year, we are required to let the Electoral Commission know, who will make this available on their website. All donations go to general Green Party funds.
