Aim: Celebrating the life of a little girl who touched the life of anyone she met by fundraising for the playgroup who cared for her so deeply.
We are heartbroken that Jessica lost her battle with mitochondrial disease on 25 January. She passed away peacefully in our arms having fought so hard and defied the odds for so long.
We knew that Jessica had an unforgettable impact on anyone that met her but the number of messages we have received has been incredible. We also understand that those who knew, cared for and loved Jessica will want to show that love and may wish to send flowers or gifts. Knowing how much charitable support we have received as a family over the past eight years, what we would dearly love in place of gifts is to support those charities in return.
Marlow Opportunity Playgroup (MOP) was pivotal in Jessica's life. The team at MOP genuinely cared for Jessica and took her into their hearts. Through that care Jessica was able to learn and develop; finding ways to communicate with us that we never thought was possible.
MOP is a tiny charity making an enormous difference so if you were thinking that you'd like to do something to celebrate Jessica's life we are sure that the children at the playgroup would love it to be a donation to this very special place.
