I'm raising funds for the biggest challenge of my musical career! 24 shows in 26 days at the world renowned Edinburgh Fringe.
Everything is set up beautifully: A wonderful venue called Assembly Checkpoint in Bristo Square, a prime early evening slot at 6.15pm and I'm playing with the most incredible musical trio with Nicola Farnon on bass and Phil Johnson on drums. Most importantly, my MOJO show (Musicians of Jewish Origin) is a dream show to perform and I believe exciting things could happen by taking it to the biggest stage for a month.
I'm so lucky that over the last 25 years, I've built up a wonderful and loyal group of friends, fans and followers who have followed my career every step of the way. They love this show and I know they want to see it at Edinburgh, perhaps as a vehicle to pastures newer and bigger?
My expenses for this venture work out at around £30k and as with so many artistic projects, it's not eligible for funding through the usual channels. Instead, I'm looking to 'crowdfund' their project to raise a sum of money that would help me break even. Any additional funds will be carried over to support the production of a forthcoming CD.
I'd be ever so grateful if you'd donate to my project... and while you're at it, have you ever considered a summer holiday to Scotland? xx
