Who are we? What's the Project?
The aim of our film is to raise awareness about the challenges faced by caregivers of terminally ill patients.
We are group of final year film students in the process of creating our final project, this crowdfunder is run by Cherry Ng, the director of our project.
The aim of our crowdfunder is to raise costs to go towards locations, production design, cast and crew travel and accommodation etc.
We are currently in the preparation stage of our film production and are in the process of location scouting and finalising cast and crew, we are set to film around March/April time.
Brief summary:
‘Jan is Tired’ is a short thriller drama film. The story follows a woman, hallucinating after killing her terminally ill husband, believes her daughter is poisoning her. The "poison" is actually medication for her amnesia. Her daughter, a psychiatrist, illegally treats her to avoid an asylum. When memories return, guilt drives the woman to suicide, leaving her daughter delusional and living with their corpses.
