Aim: Jack Boyd a talented local musician had his guitar stolen. We would like to get him a new one
Jack Boyd was playing at a festival in Midhurst. He put his guitar down for a moment to help out one of the organisers and someone walked off with it.
The guitar had sentimental value which is a big loss in itself. However, Jack being a full time musician doesn't have the funds to replace it.
The local people around him in Midhurst tried their best to help find the culprit and hopefully retrieve the guitar but unfortunately it hasn't turned up.
We can't give Jack back the memories but I am hoping that if his friends and supporters can help him buy a replacement it will be special in itself.
Since Covid things have been difficult with lots of music venues and pubs closing down. Anyone trying to make a living from music is in a precarious position. To have a vital tool of your trade stolen is a huge blow. Therefore I would like to help out one of our own.
