I’ll be frank. I want to be Mid Cheshire’s next Member of Parliament. However, I cannot match the financial clout that both Labour and the Conservatives to offer voters our Fair Deal.
Labour have paid for a brick & mortar campaign office. My campaign office is my iPad.
The Tories are spending so much money on Royal Mail leaflet deliveries, I’ve had the same leaflet through my door twice. On two separate occasions! By contrast, I have to target particular wards in my constituency to make the best use of the small resources that we have.
Every Westminster candidate is entitled to one free delivery of election material. Either to every household or every individual voter. That’s on average about 45,000 homes. The delivery is free, but printing and sorting leaflets is not. It costs around £2,500.
Everyone deserves the chance to vote Liberal Democrat. Our First Past The Post system can leave voters feeling disillusioned. Do they want more Conservative Chaos? Do they want a Labour Prime Minister who climbs downs from progressive policies?
No.
They want change. I believe the Liberal Democrats can offer that change, as long as voters know about it. Every penny counts. All donations great and small will be hugely appreciated. So if you can, please #BackJack
