Who are we?
Jack is nearly 14 years old and is spending as much time as he can in his favourite place..... in a kart! He has passion and determination to race, not only to win, but fairly and to have fun.
Unfortunately, it's not the cheapest of sports to take part in, with equipment, entrance fees and travel costs, it soon mounts up!
Why are we crowdfunding?
We want to support Jack with his racing career as much as possible, but it all costs money.
Even £5 would help towards the cost of taking part in championships, endurance team events, and hopefully visiting other outdoor tracks to gain more experience.
How we’ll spend the money raised
Each race has an entrance fee, so making sure we have the funds to actually pay for these is the start. As a teenager, Jack is growing and in need of new gear and equipment for racing - from race suit to neck support to ensure he doesn't sustain any injuries - we want him to be safe as he races.
He currently races at Buckmore Park which has been great, but having the ability to pay for fuel and accommodation for Jack to take part in races further afield would be great for his future as a racer.
We would happily accept business sponsorship from businesses, big or small, and include adding logos and details to Jack's social media sites, and to his helmet to show his appreciation.
How you can play your part
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. If you want to run your own fundraiser to support us, maybe a sponsored activity or similar, use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
