We're still collecting donations
On the 11th July 2024 we'd raised £95 with 4 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
The creation of a Mobile and Accessible toilet that will enable people with the most profound needs to access events!

On the 11th July 2024 we'd raised £95 with 4 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Bass Therapy was created to enable people with additional needs to be able to access music and entertainment, like everyone should be able to do! In 2021 we sadly lost Jody and Bass Therapy created J-Fest, her celebration of life festival.
We have not only created a lasting legacy with J-Fest, but we are now taking Bass Therapy on the road to make every event we attend as inclusive and accessible as possible!
We understand that in the UK 250,000 people require the use of a hoist to be able to transfer from their wheel chair - meaning that if a fully accessible toilet is not available, their basis human right to access safe and dignified facilities is taken away from them.
Sadly, the majority of venues and events within the UK still do not provide such facilities, which means those people who require what is a fairly simple adaptation are actively being excluded.
None of the event toilets above are fully accessible - even though the vast majority of festival advertise them as such when they simply provide portable disabled toilets which the majority of the time are not large enough for basic wheelchair access let alone additional help.
We have been generously donated a horse box which we are transforming into our Mobile Accessible Toilet. With your help, we'll breathe new life into this horse box, turning it into a mobile facility of inclusivity and accessibility. Your donation will play a vital role in making this transformation possible and in ensuring that everyone can enjoy festivals and events as we should all be able to do.
Conversion Work: Our dedicated team of volunteers will meticulously work on every aspect of this project. We'll reconfigure the interior of the horse box, designing a spacious and accessible layout to accommodate a:
This will involve plumbing, electrical work, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure safety and functionality; not forgetting interior design!
It's More Than a Convenience - It's Inclusion...
For far too long, people with additional needs have felt like they're not just inconvenienced but actively excluded by the lack of accessible toilet facilities at festivals. Many events believe they meet accessibility requirements by providing a standard disabled toilet, but in reality it's just box ticking as this does not help the 250,000 people in the UK who need a Fully Accessible Toilet.
Our aim is to make as many events and festivals as inclusive and accessible for all as we can - everyone has the right to experience the magic you can only get in a field surrounding by friends and family listening to the music that you love!
Accessibelle Glamping: By creating our Mobile Accessible Toilet, we're not only creating a fully accessible toilet, but it means the Accessibelle Glamping experience we can offer will be the complete package! Not only will it be available at J-Fest, but with your support, we can work to make private parties, weddings, events and other festivals inclusive; setting a new standard for inclusivity and changing lives along the way. Have a look at one of our Belle Tents in action - Accessibelle Glamping.
How You Can Make a Difference:
By taking any of these actions, you become an essential part of our journey to end 'loo-dicrous' exclusion and make events truly inclusive for all.
Your support in the conversion process is particularly vital in realising our vision and we thank you for being part of our journey!
Keeping Jody's Memory Alive, Creating Music For All: In loving memory of Jody, we're transforming one of the most challenging and dark times of our lives into something positive. Jody loved music, events and festivals but it was always incredibly hard work, so we're doing everything we can to take those struggles away from other people. By supporting our mission, you're helping us create a lasting, positive legacy in her honour by making events more inclusive for all. In a world where having additional needs mean you have to fight just to listen to live music, those able to fight harder to make it easier for others should.
Thank you for considering donating to our cause and we really hope to see you at J-Fest 2024...www.j-fest.co.uk
