Disabled Artists' Network CIC
We use technology to further our aims to inclusively promote creativity as a coping mechanism for disability – particularly mental health. We have been providing this free service since 2016. We work with disabled civilians and veterans, as well as non-disabled artists. This is an International arts project that also works on promoting cultural acceptance for all. As a result of Covid, we transformed our exhibition venue to a digital gallery in 2021 in order to reduce the risk of infection for our more vulnerable members.
Our first digital exhibition went live on 26th May 2021 and the next exhibition is already fully subscribed with the 3rd digital exhibition already half subscribed.
By going digital we have further removed the barriers to exhibiting art from certain groups in society:
- Severely disabled artists can now exhibit with us without leaving their homes
- A specific session has been setup for BAME artists to empower them to share their voice through art
- Artists on low incomes can use readily available technology to exhibit with us
We have always been committed towards an equality of opportunity from members of all disadvantaged groups to exhibit with us and take part in our activities.
You can view the art, poetry, photography, animations and videos that we have on display either at the venue via the 13 Samsung Smart Screens using MagicINFO or through the website and social media channels.

We now need help to upgrade our IT infrastructure to manage the digital data effectively and setup a robust sharing system that our volunteers can access remotely from anywhere.
We need to raise another £9,579.97 to pay for the IT equipment that we need ASAP and would greatly appreciate your help if you can donate some funds.
