Charity Prize Draw for India's Covid relief effort

It's been heartbreaking to watch the Covid situation unravel in India, and organisations doing incredible work to support communities need help & funds. 

Covid cases are rising by 400,000 in a single day, and the total number of infections has now passed 19.6 million at the time of writing. Oxygen supplies and hospital beds remain in desperately short supply throughout the country. Many relatives of those infected are pleading on social media for help. The loss of human life & impact on a number of communities is horrifying.  

As a business, we are indebted to its cultural riches and the sweat of its people. Now is our time to help!

17 brands have teamed up to create a fantastic prize draw (£1000 worth of prizes!) to raise money for relief aid. 

Prize Draw & Aid Details:

    2.    Min £10 donation to enter

    3.    All proceeds will be split evenly between aid organisations detailed below. 

    4.    Include your email address so we can contact you if you've won! 

    5.    Enter as many times as you’d like. 

    6.    The prize draw will run through May 31st, winners are selected June 1st. 

    7.    We'll randomly draw a winner for each prize (17 draws = 17 chances to win!)

All funds raised will be shared evenly amongst the following organisations:

Khaana Chahiye - fighting hunger in Mumbai

Mazdoor Kitchen - providing meals & subsistence to daily wage workers in Delhi

Mission Oxygen - helping hospitals across India get immediate access to oxygen concentrators

Hemkunt Foundation - arranging resources & supplying oxygen cylinders to people in need & organising relief camps

Khalsa Aid - providing support across a number of India's covid relief efforts

£10 is enough to buy rations for a family for 2 weeks, so everything really does help.

The Details

• The prize draw closes on the 31st of May at midday. Prizes will be drawn at random on 1st June and all winners will be notified by 1st June. This Prize Draw is open to UK entrants only. Please see the full T&Cs below. 

Terms & Conditions

Participation in the Prize Draw costs a minimum £10 donation.

For every ticket purchased, your name will be entered into the Prize Draw once. The winners will be randomly generated online.

Tickets are not to be sold to, sold by, or bought on behalf of anyone under 18 years of age. Any tickets bought by or on behalf of somebody under the age of 18 will be rejected from the draw.

This Prize Draw is open to UK entrants only. 

Tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.

Any ticket monies received after the closing date will be treated as a donation and the tickets will not be entered into the draw.

Tickets are to be purchased through our page on Crowdfunder by the 31st of May at midday.

The Prize Draw

The results of the Prize Draw are final. No correspondence will be entered into about the draw process and results.

Winners will be notified by Plant Pops by 1st June. 

If you’re lucky enough to win a prize, we will be in touch to confirm and your contact details will be shared with the prize supplier so that arrange delivery.

If no contact is made by the winner with the prize supplier within six weeks of the winning email being sent the prize may be forfeit.

To enter the draw without pledging, please send a postcard with the prize draw name, your name, address, email address, and contact telephone number to: Popped Snacks Ltd, *Prize Draw*, 1 Victor House, Barnet Road, AL2 1BJ. Entries must be sent on a postcard or within an envelope. In the case of multiple entries received in a single envelope or postcard, only one entry will be entered into the draw. Entries sent by post must be received by the Prize Draw closing date. Postal entries without correct and sufficient postage paid will be invalid and will not be considered. Personal and hand deliveries will not be accepted.
