At LEOS Musical Theatre Company we are dedicated to making our performances as accessible as possible. Here are some of the things we have implemented to try and create a more inclusive experience:
- Essential Carer Tickets: If audience members require the assistance of a carer, they can add an essential carer ticket to their booking for free.
- Trained Front of House Staff: All front of house staff have received training to support accessibility initiatives.
- Dementia Friends: LEOS is a proud participant in the 'Dementia Friends' programme, ensuring a welcoming environment for those living with dementia.
- Audio Programmes: Patrons can request an audio programme before attending the theatre (when booking) or on the day of the performance. This feature supports people in following along with the show.
- A relaxed Performance: Perfect for those who may benefit from a more casual and open environment. Quiet spaces available.
- Touch Tour: This allows attendees to explore the set and props up close, enhancing their connection to the performance.
- BSL Interpreter: A British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted performance.
We will be fundraising throughout our show weeks and beyond to help us carry these initiatives forward to future productions. The Front of House staff will be waiting after each performance with collection buckets for donations - we welcome any support you can give. Or you can donate here.
