Thanks for supporting our Playground
How do we know our work makes a difference ? Here are some case studies to demonstrate the difference our playground makes to the lives of disadvantaged children.
I am Writing to tell you about my experience with the St Pauls Adventure Playground. As a little Girl, i used to attend Ventures many years ago. Now being grown up and seeing my own Children in Ventures is Amazing to me. For my Children to Experience the sense of Excitement, Community and Safety that i felt is a Wonderful feeling.
I am the type of person who is private about my life and problems that i struggle with in many ways, but i know Ventures can help me. I have sometimes attended knowing my Children will have something to eat, as there isn't a lot a home.
There are times that my Depression is so bad that I knew the kids being in Ventures would be their break away from Moany, Sad Mummy.
Where they could run around and have Fun. As well as a break for me to get five minutes peace, to be sat alone, have a coffee, or speak to an ADULT whilst they run riot.

My Eldest Son has ADHD and SPD he loves an adrenaline rush and is extremely hyper. For him being able to burn off all that extra energy in a safe way, means so much to us.
The people at Ventures make you feel like a Family, they make you feel like whatever struggles you are going through, you're not going through them alone.
Attending Ventures on a regular basis you see a lot. My kids are lucky they have me. I see so many kids who are there straight after School, with no parents because it is better for them to be at Ventures than at home.
Children are Safe, they can get food if needed, they can run around, be kids and be happy, they are technically off of the Streets away from harm at Ventures until Closing.
Ventures means a lot to soo many people, including my Family. I wish there was more like this around our City to help so many more kids.
