Marwa Relief has been set up to help those most in need by providing the basic necessities to help ease their hardship. This charity aims to be a beacon of hope in places where normal everyday life has almost become unbearable.  Our current focus is on Yemen, a country on the brink of a catastrophic famine resulting from nearly a decade of conflict. The UN has described the humanitarian situation in Yemen as one of the worst in the world with more than 22million in need of aid. Sadly, at least 1 child dies every 10 minutes in Yemen from malnutrition and preventable diseases. Marwa Relief is actively working on the ground to provide food assistance and save lives. We urgently need donations to help families facing poverty, food insecurity and lack of medical help. Donations will provide basic health care and emergency food packs to those most in need of aid.  Marwa Relief hopes to alleviate the suffering of many vulnerable families in Yemen and be a source of hope. This charity has been set up in loving memory of our beloved daughter Marwa.  Abu Huraira (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever helps ease one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and in the Hereafter.  (Sahih Muslim 2699)  Food Parcel Distribution Ramadan 2024  We have recently distributed 324 food parcels during Ramadan to some of the most vulnerable families in Yemen in Lahj, Aden and Abyan governorate helping over 1,620 people.
