We are a London based non-profit theatre company who are taking our original musical, I'm Autistic - A New Musical, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2025. In order to achieve this, we need to secure enough funding.
The show follows three autistic characters, Lauren, Nat and Chloe and the challenges they face navigating life as autistic people. All three characters have varying support needs and contrasting plot lines to highlight the broad range of autistic experiences. It puts autistic experiences, and autistic performers in the spotlight and aims to re-educate audiences on any pre-conceptions they have about autism. The show has been workshopped twice in the last 2 years and is now ready to take its next step. Our theatre company has been created by neurodiverse people, for neurodiverse people and our aim is to put as many neurodiverse people in the spotlight as possible. We believe supporting an arts project that furthers understanding of disability is a great way to show support for the autistic community.
Taking this show to Fringe is no small endeavour, but we feel this is the right platform to launch the show to a bigger audience, and improve audience perceptions of autism. Anything you can donate will be a massive help in getting us there, even if it's just the price of a coffee.
