I have represented South Africa for 11 years and once again I am honored to have been selected for the Women's National Ice Hockey team. In 2022 I moved to the UK and have been competing in the women's premier league in Chelmsford.
In 2019 South Africa won Gold in Bulgaria at the IIHF Women's World Championships, which moved us up a division. With the rise of COVID we were unable to compete in 2020 or 2021. In 2022 we competed in Croatia and managed to come 4th in the new division.
Now in April 2024 I will be travelling to Turkey to compete against Australia, Korea, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Turkey.
Unfortunately there is not a lot of support in women's sport in South Africa and so I will need to fund myself to travel from the UK to Turkey, as well as purchase some kit which is why I am asking for any donations small or large to help me to continue my passion.
Any amount great or small will be greatly appreciated every little bit accumulates.
