0The Irish Elderly Advice Network has spent 30 years working to improve the lives of older people. We ask for your support this Christmas to allow us to continue this vital work. Help us continue to bring dignity, financial independence, friendship and joy to the lives of older Irish people and friends in London.
In the last 12 months we have supported 5500 older Irish people.
- We have accessed £3.1 million for individual older people through pensions, health and disability benefit, housing costs support, grants and other funds.
- We have rehoused 102 older people into safe, secure, lifelong housing
- We have provided 2100 meals to older people at our Lunch Clubs
- We have made 1500 befriending phone calls to older people
- Run a daily Phone Helpline supporting older people throughout the UK and Ireland
- Run tea dances, lunch clubs, support the Irish Pensioners Choir, host events, trips and activities
- Set up a new Inclusion Service dedicated to ensuring older people with dementia remain part of our community and enjoy life as much as possible
We are very grateful for your support.
