From a young age, I faced challenges both in school and with physical activity. After being expelled at a young age, I experienced firsthand the significant impact this had on my life. Determined to turn things around, I pursued a career as a personal trainer. Now, with over a decade of experience, I have built a diverse client base spanning various ages, backgrounds, and demographics. I truly enjoy what I do and have witnessed the immense benefits that fitness has brought to my life and those I work with.
For anyone interested in fitness, I highly recommend considering personal training as a career. The flexibility, fulfilment , and sense of purpose it provides are truly rewarding.
One area I am particularly passionate about is working with clients who have neurodevelopmental disorders. Many of these individuals find traditional gym environments intimidating or unsuitable. To address this, I provide tailored training sessions in the comfort of their homes, gardens, or local parks. These familiar environments allow clients, particularly those with autism or social anxiety, to engage in fitness without the stress of a conventional gym setting.
My goal is to create a team of like-minded trainers who share this passion. Together, we can help children and adults build confidence, improve social skills, and embrace fitness as a part of their lives. By removing the barriers that traditional fitness settings often present, we can provide a valuable service and be positive role models for those who need it most.
With additional funding, I aim to establish and grow this initiative, making personalised fitness more accessible to individuals who might otherwise never experience its life-changing benefits.
