Who are we?
Hurstpierpoint Lawn Tennis Club is a thriving, member-run tennis club in the heart of Hurstpierpoint village in the Sussex Downs and founded in 1925.
Why are we crowdfunding?
It's our centenary year, and we are celebrating by upgrading the club house!!
The bright, accessible new facilities will help everyone enjoy playing, watching tennis and socialising at the club throughout the year.
In 2024, we upgraded the club's 3 tennis courts to all-year-round clay surfaces - completely funded from club reserves. They are a resounding big hit with everyone!
We now need your help to fund these exciting renovations to the club house, so you and others can enjoy the club even more. The project will cost over £50,000 and our aim is to raise at least £5,000 more locally to get the project started.
How we’ll spend the money raised
The money will help fund building costs and furnishings for the new architect-designed space.
Community impact
The project will help the club cater to the needs of all members and coached juniors from the local area.
