Huntingdon indoor skatepark

Aim: Raising funds for an indoor skatepark in Huntingdonshire
Beau is 11 years old started skateboarding back in June 2021 at 8. Her first ever lesson was with Jason at Let’s go skate. She has since enjoyed group lessons, skate club, 121 lessons and skateboarding road trips to experience different parks across the country.
Beau loves to skate but it’s frustrating when lessons are cancelled due to the weather. Every winter it is hard to keep her skills up when often weeks or months of bad weather means no opportunity to practice.
We often travel over an hour to the nearest indoor skateparks meaning it’s difficult to plan and be spontaneous.
The opportunity for a indoor skatepark would be amazing, it would not only give children like Beau the opportunity to skate all year round, but would continue to build the local skate community, help to reduce anti-social behaviour at skateparks and build confidence and skills.
Please support Beau, along with her friends, who are skateboarding 13 miles from St ives to Cambridge along the guided busway to help raise money for this amazing project.
