Harborough Woodland works with landowners, community groups, schools and volunteers to increase our local tree coverage (currently a very low 4%).
We plant trees and hedges with the help of our volunteers to increase the number of trees in our area and to increase biodiversity. Having more trees in the ground also plays an important part working to prevent flooding in the area.
We have implemented many projects with landowners over the last 3 planting seasons, planted over 40,000 trees and going forwards hope to continue making a meaningful difference to our local environment. Funds raised will contribute to getting even more trees in the ground in our local area, and used in the day to day running cost to achieve these objectives.
